Our History

Love Serving Autism (LSA) was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to create inclusive therapeutic opportunities for individuals with autism and unique through racquet sports. The organization launched its first program in January 2017 at The Palm Beach School for Autism, founded by a speech therapist and tennis professional who recognized the powerful impact that movement, structure, and sport can have on individuals on the spectrum. From the beginning, LSA built adaptive programming designed to improve motor skills, encourage social connection, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

What started as a single grassroots tennis program has grown into a leading provider of inclusive and adaptive racquet sports programming. LSA is innovative and one of a kind in integrating licensed therapists directly on the court—including speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral specialists—creating a truly interdisciplinary approach that supports each participant’s developmental needs in real time.

In 2025, LSA expanded beyond tennis to include pickleball and padel, creating even more opportunities for participation and engagement. That same year, LSA launched Rising Racquets, its early intervention program designed to support younger children through foundational movement, communication, and play-based learning.

LSA also launched online coach, volunteer, and therapist certification for inclusive and adaptive racquet sports programming, while forming strong partnerships with leading racquet sports and sports industry organizations. Through these efforts, LSA continues to expand access, strengthen communities, and advance inclusion both on and off the court.

By 2026, Love Serving Autism expanded to 77 program locations across Florida and 15 states, with growing international interest and program requests. LSA remains committed to training coaches and therapists, supporting families, and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals with autism and unique to thrive through racquet sports.
