After 97 years of godly living, Gladys Jones Liles passed from this world to the next on January 7, 2023. She was born in Pocohantas, TN to Hugh and Effie Jones on September 18, 1925. She was married to her husband Joe (deceased) for 59 years, a union which produced 3 children: Linda (Bob); Larry, deceased (Fran); Cliff (Brenda). As the family nucleus expanded over time, she became the respected matriarch of 7 grandchildren (Lisa, Stephen, Michael, Mandy, Lindsay, Maryn, and Adam) and 7 great grandchildren (Lucia, Javier, Caleb, Carter, Mila, Maylee, and Hazel). However, these facts say nothing about her character, which can be summed up by the word “love” – for family, for friends, and most importantly, for her God. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her and loved her. Helping children was her passion in life, so the family appreciates any donation you may wish to give your support because the Love Serving Autism cause is so dear to her heart.
