Match Point Gala
The mission of the annual Match Point Gala is to celebrate and honor those nominated as “Legacy Ambassadors.” These are community partners and individuals who have made significant contributions through participation, awareness campaigns, and fundraising.
Their efforts and the funds raised catalyze the development and expansion of Love Serving Autism’s therapeutic programs. These programs create an inclusive and accepting community for neurodiverse individuals, on and off the courts.

LOVE SERVING AUTISM CROWNS 2024 LEGACY OF THE YEAR!
Boca Raton, FL —Love Serving Autism (LSA) crowned Jack Garchik & Dan Weinstein with the 2024 Legacy of the Year award Saturday night at Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton. Over the last eight months, Garchik and Weinstein campaigned to raise awareness and funding to help LSA in its mission to serve those with unique abilities on and off the court. Garchik won the award for the second consecutive year. Giulia Merklein finished as first runner-up. Merklein, in her first year as a legacy, demonstrated an incredible passion and connection for the mission. She started her campaign in June but finished as a strong advocate. Jill Jolley finished as second runner-up. Jolley has finished in the top three for two consecutive years and is a valued, long-time supporter and board member of Love Serving Autism. There were 15 Legacies running campaigns from March to October. Together, they helped Love Serving Autism raise a record amount of over 370,000 in their 3rd Annual event.

The Match Point Gala is an annual fundraising and awareness campaign hosted by Love Serving Autism. Each year, the staff and Board of Directors nominate “Legacy” candidates, philanthropic leaders in the community, who truly represent the LSA mission with a passion and dedication to help build the community and raise awareness and needed funds for Love Serving Autism.
All funds raised will help ensure current South Florida Love Serving Autism programs serving individuals throughout Florida are sustained, with a focus on continued programmatic and therapeutic growth. Love Serving Autism’s goals are to support individuals on the Autism Spectrum to develop life skills and independence on and off the courts.
Funding from the Match Point Gala will also support our goal to establish an “INTERACT Facility” in 2025 to serve as a training and program facility providing inclusive indoor therapeutic tennis and multi-sport facility for typical and neuro-diverse children and adults.
