therapists

The Love Serving Autism program implements therapeutic services through racquet sports.

Speech

As a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), our founder designed an adaptive tool kit with communication visuals for the tennis program.

Additional SLPs provide therapeutic consultation for increasing tennis skills during the program.

Physical

The Love Serving Autism program teaches gross motor skills including running, jumping and balance for the program participants with the consultation of certified physical therapists.

Occupational Therapist

An occupational therapist (OT) is a healthcare professional who helps individuals of all ages achieve or regain the ability to perform daily activities and improve their overall quality of life.

ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis):

The Love Serving Autism program integrates ABA principles into the classes, including First/Then boards, token economy boards, and certified ABA therapists assisting with behavior modification and functional independence.

We are incredibly proud and grateful for our therapists who contribute to Love Serving Autism!

What makes Love Serving Autism an excellent career opportunity for certified speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral therapists?

Specialized Impact
Love Serving Autism focuses on using tennis and racquet sports therapy to help individuals with autism develop physical and social skills. Therapists have the opportunity to apply their expertise in a unique, sports-based setting that directly contributes to improving the lives of children and adults with autism and other developmental abilities.

Collaborative Environment

The organization encourages collaboration among various types of therapists, coaches, and educators. This multidisciplinary approach allows therapists to work together, share insights, and develop more comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the needs of each individual.

Professional Development
Working with Love Serving Autism offers therapists the chance to gain specialized experience in autism therapy, particularly within the context of sports and recreational activities. This can enhance their professional skills and open up new avenues for career growth in the field of autism and developmental disabilities. LSA offers continuing education credits hours for certified therapists.
